Restoration Over Relief at CareNetworkCR

6/30/25, 5:00 PM

When Family Hurts

Sometimes the deepest wounds come not from strangers, but from our own people. From betrayal. From silence. From family.

We see this pain in Judges 12, when Jephthah, a mighty warrior, ends up in a tragic civil war with his own tribe. Brotherhood becomes battlefield. Misunderstanding turns fatal.

And today, we see it too:

• Sisters no longer speaking over inheritance.
• Parents and children estranged over past wounds.
• Church families fractured over assumptions and unspoken hurt.

But the heart of God is always restoration.

At CareNetworkCR, we walk with families through brokenness—with dignity, listening, and the long view of healing, with eternity in mind.

Relief gives a quick fix, stopping the bleeding.

Restoration leans in, listens long, and rebuilds trust.

As the Chalmers Center teaches, when we bypass relationships for handouts, we can unintentionally widen the gap. But when we care with, not just for, hearts can heal.

Prayer for Restoration:

Lord, where families are fractured, bring Your mercy. Where words have wounded, speak truth. Where silence lingers, breathe courage. Awaken hearts to pursue healing, repentance, and reconnection. Restore what’s been lost—not just in homes, but in identity. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

“If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.” – Romans 12:18
