Market-Based Evangelism: Every Skill Set for Kingdom Impact
CareNetworkCR is a starting point for connection and empowerment, but the work multiplies through you. Whether your background is in healthcare, business, education, trades, or the home, your skills matter in the Kingdom.

At CareNetworkCR, we believe the marketplace is more than just an exchange of goods and services—it’s an avenue for Gospel witness, healing, and transformation. When we answer calls from our neighbors in need, the Lord invites us to use every gift and background we have for His Kingdom purposes.
One of our volunteers, a nurse by training, recently connected with a caller who had survived domestic violence. With deep compassion, she didn’t just listen to the physical realities of the caller’s situation—she discerned the hidden wounds, the spiritual and emotional poverty beneath the surface. Using her skill set, she bridged care with dignity and hope.
This is market-based evangelism in action: everyday skills, stewarded for eternal impact.
Another caller was struggling to earn a livable income. Through our growing network of business and church partnerships, a job referral became more than just employment—it became a tangible reminder that the Body of Christ works best when it works together.
Stewardship of resources, both relational and financial, opens doors for sustainable solutions. The Chalmers Center reminds us that poverty is not only about lacking money, but about broken relationships—with God, with self, with others, and with creation. Scripture affirms this truth: “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” (1 Peter 4:10). When the Church comes together in unity—allocating resources, sharing skills, and collaborating across congregations—we embody God’s ecosystem of care.

Whether your background is in healthcare, business, education, trades, or the home, your skills matter in the Kingdom. Join us in stewarding resources well, uniting churches, and caring for our community. Together, we reflect Christ’s love in tangible, sustainable ways.
